Torrie Wilson
Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24, 1975) is an American former professional wrestler and model. Her most notable achievements are with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the World Wrestling Federation. In 1999, Wilson won Miss Galaxy. [1][8] She was soon signed by World Championship Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling, where she remained until 2000. [2][7][8] In 2001, she began appearing in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) television in the The Invasion (by WCW, of the [then-] WWF) storyline. In particular, she was famous in her feud with Dawn Marie ([7][8]) Dawn Marie ([7][8]) as well as with Sable ([5][9]). Wilson was also member of the all-female stable (i.e. an ensemble of storyline-associated characters), known as Vince's Devils that ended its run in 2006.Aside of pro-wrestling, Wilson has been on the covers of various magazines which include FHM and Playboy (which Wilson posed for twice, one featuring both Wilson as well as Sable).Wilson was admitted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. Wilson's first wrestling experience began when she was at a World Championship Wrestling (WCW) show with her boyfriend back in 1999. [7][8][9] Wilson was invited to join Scott Steiner in the ring after she went backstage. Seven Kevin Nash later expressed interest in some kind of storyline. The episode was her debut appearance on Nitro's February 8, 1999 episode (later called "Samantha") In the episode, it was discovered that Wilson was hired by New World Order (nWo), to seduce David Flair into supporting his father Ric Flair. They appeared together on February 21st during SuperBrawl IX when Wilson slapped Ric in the face, and David struck Ric with a Taser. 15 Ric won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He was filming by Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage. David and Wilson were then absent from WCW television until May. They returned to the Ring in May to watch matches. At the 1999 Bash at the Beach, Wilson was a valet for Flair in his successful defense of the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship against Dean Malenko.
