Meagan Monique Good was born on the 8th, 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle her mother who managed her in her teens and her dad Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. The acting career of Meagan Good began around the age of four. She grew up in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. She began her acting career as an extra in television series such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. At the age of 13, she was cast in her first feature film Friday. The role she played as Cisely, the troubled teen in Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her interest. She received two nominations including the first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Originally from Texas Killmer was an undergraduate at Baylor University in Waco Texas which she graduated with a B.F.A. In performing arts, her degree was obtained in the year 2010. She began her career on screen with I Can Dream, a web series. Following her appearance in several local productions, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the first episode in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show was centered around an ensemble of individuals who started living within Hollywood California.
