Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descent is her mother. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in productions of the school. After she turned 16, she left school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to work as an actor. The opportunity was offered to her opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
