Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Fawn was a part of the Mormon Church's oldest family, was able to combine her literary talents and exceptional research abilities into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. The title was in response to a funeral address that was delivered by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder, Joseph Smith. The sermon said: "You do not know what I'm about and you've not seen my soul." No one knows my story. There is no way for me to tell you. Fawn was a 29-year-old Fawn. Since that moment, at least three writers have stood up to the challenge. Some have made an attempt to create a diagnostic diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient however they do have a lot of contradictions. It is a matter of separating first-hand testimony from third hand inconsistencies and integrating Mormon-related narratives into a mosaic of credible theology. I find it both fascinating as well as an eye-opener. FawnBrodie embraced this professional project with gusto and enthusiasm. Her work in research and writing made her famous all over the world. Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. An intimate History (1974) and posthumously Richard Nixon.
